| Zu seinem 20jährigen Jubiläum bietet das LSQ weltweit zum ersten Male einen Beethoven-Zyklus, der den historischen und musikalischen Zusammenhang darstellen hilft – nicht die Gegebenheiten der Konzerte diktieren die Reihenfolge, sondern der musikalische Kontext. Der entstehende große Zyklus kann auch in Teilen gebucht werden und wird von Programmen flankiert, in deren Zentrum Beethoven steht. |
| On the occasion of its twentieth anniversary the Leipzig String Quartet offers a complete cycle consisting of Beethoven quartets which is characterized by the historical and musical context. It may be the first time worldwide that a single string quartet performs three of the most challenging Beethoven quartets (op. 59) in one evening - some of them topping even Beethoven's violin concerts in regard of its technical requirements. The cycle may be booked fully or in parts. |
| À l'occasion de leur vingtième anniversaire les membres de l'LSQ offrent pour la première fois dans le monde un cycle complet avec tous les quatuors de Beethoven qui est fortement lié au contexte historique et musical. Ce ne sont pas les réalités incidentaires du concert qui dirigent l'ordre - c'est le rapport musical. Le cycle peut être reservé entièrement ou en partie. |
